Daffodil Day
Today it is Daffodil Day, we came dressed as what we wanted to be when we grew up. Some people in my soccer team came as soccer players and wore our uniforms. I chose to come as a Well Payed Actor Playing As A Soccer Player In A Movie. I know it is a mouthful but I could not decide if I wanted to come as a soccer player or a actor so I chose both.
The reason Daffodil Day is so important is because of cancer. We all bring a gold coin to help fun the cancer research. We did a really cool parade with all the classes marching around the court to show off there outfits. We are soon going to tell the class what we dressed up as.

My Speech
For the past few weeks we have been writing speeches or writing poems and memorizing them. I did my speech on white tigers and they are amazing animals. Here is my speech.
Intro:
Imagine have a giant ball of fluff to hug, Well if that's what you want this is probably not the choice for you. I chose white tigers because I wanted to do something unusual. I also like big cats. White tigers interest me because there pattern is unusual and they are a very rare form of tiger.
Body:1
The white Bengal tigers stand out because of the color of their fur.
The orange fur in Bengal tigers comes from something called pheomelanin, white tiger’s do not have much pheomelanin pigments in there skin. That is why they are white.
Body:2
The length of a fully grown adult is up to 3 meters and can weigh about 200-230 kilograms. White Bengal tigers finish growing when they are 2-3 years old.As with all tigers, the white Bengal tiger’s stripes are like fingerprints, with no two tigers having the same pattern. The stripes of the tiger are a pigmentation of the skin; if an individual were to be shaved, its distinctive coat pattern would still be visible
Body:3
White bengal tiger’s normally grow faster and heavier than normal tigers.
They also tend to be bigger at birth, and as fully grown adults. White tiger births are extremely rare because both parents need to have the unusual white gene, which only happens naturally one every 10,000 births
Body: 4
There is a myth that white tigers have an 80% infant mortality rate. However, the infant mortality rate for white tigers is no higher than it is for normal orange tigers bred in captivity. The white tiger is a hybrid mutant version of the tiger. If a pure white Siberian tiger were to be born, it would therefore not be selectively bred within the tiger conservation programs. Due to the popularity of white tigers, they are used to attract visitors to zoos. White tigers are found are commonly found in zoos in China.
Conclusion:
In conclusion white tigers are amazing animals that we need to keep around. I hope you enjoyed my speech goodbye.
That was my speech.

Jets
Today we got given some post-its and a pen, we were told to walk around the room and look at the tables that had items on them. Some of them were random, we wrote down questions that we thought of about the objects and put them next to it. After that we wrote down the two questions about one thing that we found most interesting, after that we went to the table where those questions that we wrote down came from.
After that we got a big piece of paper and stuck all the questions in there subjects and put them on a big piece of paper together. We stacked them so it look like one post-it for every subject. I did mine on a fighter jet and my questions were.
1. What is this jet called?
2. How many bullets can it hold at one time?
3. How many people can it carry?
4. How much weight can it take-off with?
5. How much does it cost to make?
6. How many were made?
7. How fast can it fly?
8. How long did it take to make?
9. How much runway does it need to take off?
10.How much does it need to land?

Rescue Mission To Save a Doll
So... a passerby was walking by a car and saw a baby left in it with no windows open and in warm clothes. So he called 111 and got them to break into the car. When they grabbed what they thought was a dying baby they realized it was just a realistic looking toy baby that the car owners granddaughter had left in the car when they went out.
The owner's car was fully paid for by the police.
I think that is strange and has probably only happen once.
It is good the police paid for the car to be fixed.

Hunger Games
For the past 2 terms we have been reading the hunger games, It is a thrilling story where Katniss Everdeen and Peter Malark. They get sucked into the hunger games where they have to fight for survival with 24 other tributes. Most of the other tributes die in the first day and it is down to 15 but it is still a fight for survival with the main enemy being the carers. That is the first 3 districts that get trained to fight and kill.
It is a good book and would recommend it to anyone over ten.

I found this today and I think it is amazing. It has been floating around the internet for a while and it resembles a challenge to anyone who reads it. It is a little hard to understand at first but after the first few lines it clears up and become's easy.
I think this is really cool and it is pretty easy to do. You just try to see the number's ans some letter's and eventually you start to see a pattern.

Brain Explosions, we all have them. Like right now I can not think of any thing to right about so I am going to right about his and how incredibly annoying they are. They can happen anytime anywhere and they are incredibly annoying. Sometimes you knight be talking to somebody and you will forget what you were talking about. Or sitting in class with your hand up and the teacher asks you your opinion on something or what you think and you an forgotten and you only remember later.
They suck and you can not stop them happening.
This is a random post which was the final product of a brain explosion.

Queens Birthday Weekend
Last weekend it was the Queens birthday Weekend which meant we got three days of school instead of two in the weekends. We did not do much but on Saturday we went to Thames and got some things we needed. After that we came back to the skate park in Ngatea. We stayed there for about 2 hours until I wanted to go home. When we were going home my scooter fell forward and broke the mirror my dad had bought. So we had to go back again the next day. We went to the skate park again after and stayed there for about 2 hours again. We got home and cleaned everything. Then the next day we stayed home and went to the skate park again instead of going to Miranda hot pools.(My choice). hen after that we went home.
We did not do very much on the weekends but I enjoyed the extra day off.

Writing
My Friend and I have been writing a story set in WW II. We have been caught by the Japanese who want genetically modified soldiers to attack pearl harbor. We have not finished So this is the first chapter in my point of view and a little in his.
Pearl Harbor
Prologue
The 3rd of December, 1941. That was when the rest of our lives began. We were being experimented on by the Japanese who wanted genetically engineered soldiers to attack the Americans. My friend Alex was being made into a water soldier. His DNA was blasted with exponentially large amounts of radiation to fuse with shark DNA.
On the other hand. I was being slowly electrocuted and exposed to dark matter. The resulting effect was me being able to move at superhuman speeds. I could also think, see and react quickly.
This is our story.
Chapter 1
They had told us that we were going to be genetically modified to have superhuman abilities but we would not know what until we went through their tests that they had made for us. We guessed that they would test in different places to learn what we did best. The day they came we were scared. We did not know if we were going make it through the tests or what would happen to us after. We were talking about what we would do if we got separated or one of us did not make it through the test when the guards came through the doors and pushed us towards the door. As we walked out we saw all the other people coming out some with struggle and some with none. We were in a group of strangers and we were lucky enough to know each other before hand do it was easier to go through the whole event for us than the other people.
We got guided through a maze of passageways and doors until we stopped and got split into groups. We got split up and I got sent off to a room that had japanese writing on to the top and did not know what we were going to do until I saw inside. It was a room with a massive pool in it. It looked like a piece of sea that had been cut removed from the ocean and placed inside. Equipped with sharks, fish, squid, octopus, turtle. Someone that spoke english walked forward and told us if we did not jump in we would be shot. We all dived in and started treading water at the surface. They lowered a cage and told us if we wanted to be let out we had to survive in the water for 1 hours without getting eaten. We had a little bit of breathing space that we had to keep coming back to to breath.
They said start and a few of us dived under straight away to look for somewhere to hide close to the surface. I had just found a small cave to hide in when the octopus noticed something and attacked the few people sitting at the surface doing nothing. They dragged them under with the suction cups on their tentacles that also cut them and attracted the sharks that caused a war between the octopus and the squid. I realised that I needed to breath and tried to get a breath but I was running out of energy and air and started floating down. My vision was getting blurry and I thought I was going to drown.
I felt something soft under me and soon I was going towards the surface. I breached the surface and took a huge breath. I lay on my back for a couple of seconds before looking under me and saw it was a Great White Shark! I screamed and the people heard me and looked over. One of the guards aimed his gun at the water and they lifted myself and the shark out of the water with a crane. They dropped me on the floor and the shark into a tank of water. I picked myself up and went and said thank you to the shark even though I knew it could not understand me.
I wonder how Aidan is doing.
Chapter 2
They took my group down a long corridor and into a room. It looked like an African savannah. The only exception was that it had a large, looping racetrack.

Goal Reflection
I was not here on Monday but I have been trying to get work done and drink more water than I normally do. I was not not here on Monday so I did not set goals but. The reason I was not here on Monday was because I had not got enough sleep after a four hour drive, I was extremely tired and pale in the morning. I have been trying to get more sleep through the week so I am more switched on in the day. I have been getting my bag ready earlier so I am not rushing around to get my bag packed.
